CITIZENStandards is an association created by some recognised standardization professionals as an European neutral platform with the objective of increasing the awareness on citizens-related standardization mattersat European and International level.

CITIZENStandards aims at improving the awareness of citizens in standardization through modern, open and inclusive structures and processes.

CITIZENStandards relies on a decentralised network of experts and on modern information services and systems to ensure that citizens’ contributions can be provided in an effective and efficient way. The European Business School of Standards and the European School of Standards are two initiatives to increase skills and competences of professionals and citizens in the field of standardisation.
